Jonathan Brown won the Jacksonville rugged Maniac and is going to be racing in the Charleston, SC race. He is using this race to help him train for the Appalachian Trail 2172 mile hike/race from Georgia to Maine. Departing around May 25th, 2011
Jonathan finished second overall by less than a second in Charleston, SC. On his first race of the day, he lead most of the race and was passed in the last mile. He found out that he could race a second time and try to improve his time. He ran an hour and a half later, winning his heat, but still short of the overall winner.
